Hamsa Yusuf and the Marabatun
I wouldn't be surprised if Hamsa Yusuf was reflecting back on his early days with the Marabatun because it does seem like he was just generally a firebrand. He's become kind of like a Jordan Peterson light kind of a figure in terms of his politics and his social views. I get frustrated listening to his, like I really appreciate his knowledge of the religion. Abdul Haqim Marad is better than Hamzul Yusuf in my view, generally speaking. It definitely has flexibility and dynamism but yeah, there's also the consequence that you know, people with power can exert influence over others.
