Hair symbolized some who was set apart to god, one who'd made covenants and oaths and promises. And i'm i'm going to live a godly way, and my hair shows that. That's where samson comes from. So even with samson, not just spiritual strength was supposed to show, but in his case, physical strength too. Pass forward to the story of absalom. The hair that got caught in the branches of the oak tree. His pride that got hung up on something and cost him his life.
