One paris, the trojan prince with problems and promises of his own that we talked about at length in episode one. He met queen helen and either seduced her or straight up kidnapped her back to troy. Menelaus was heartbroken, but agamemnon was enraged. Some foreign prince didn't get to come over to his brother's kingdom and kidnap his wife. The Trojans would answer for this. Agamemnon membered the pledge, a pledge that all the people seeking helen's hand had made nearly a decade prior. We'll talk about what helen's ex ce was like in coming episodes.
