The Battle of Cressy

This is one of my favorite battles in 1346 I i'm serious. This was the focus of the thesis that I did in college and the focus of Every single drunken lecture. The battle began first with a direct skirmish between the french crossbow men because the french had hired a whole bunch of genese mercenaries to serve as their troops. If they had stopped if they had waited They would have easily won this Because the english were trapped In enemy territory, low on supplies And could have very easily been starved to the submission.
