Caroak wrote 24 novels, published like 20. He's best known for on the road t but he felt like itdid really represent him as a writer. His road there was to be countercultural, but in reality, he wanted to be in the canon of the culture. So that's kind of that inherent tension that's there in him is probably, you know, he probably was dealing with that quite a bit.
