The Difference Between Armed Community Defence and a Gun at a Protest?

There's a significant difference between armed community defence, and having a intentional presence of armed community defence at an event or protest. With any responsible community defense role, withan protest context, that the act of being a body between a threat and your community has to come first. The primary thing is going to be just putting yourself in harm's way so that you can spare that responsibility from somebody possibly more vulnerable thin you. And im how do you avoid letting that turn people doing that into feeling like separate and even elevated chunk of of the community? Because then again, that's what happens with police. You know, this idea that it starts us like whe we're here to serve and protect.
