Not Just the Tudors
00:00
Why Did Ejibet Experience Such Anger?
Rumours say Ejibet was obsessed with her own ageing after the death of her husband. She is said to have been motivated by blood as if she was some sort of bride or Dracula. There's also evidence that she had accomplices, including nursemaids and laundresses. Some historians estimate the girls were around 10 to 14 years old. The surviving testimonies of these individuals attest to how they assisted in enticing girls to her court, torturing and killing them and disposed of their bodies.
