Why Are Interest Rates Declining?

Using this data, at least in terms of real rits, we find a time in the past that looks a bit like now. One of the themes of our papers trying to understand the underlying deeper forces behind the declining real rates. Some of he these forces are the ones ricardo as mentioned. Could be productivity growth. Could be demographic forces. Or there would be some uneasiness about the risks that are in the world of movements and risk appetite. These are some of the forcesthat could be pushing things down.
