Is There a Difference Between Faith and Reason?

Scepticism posits a kind of opposition between faith and reason. This has am image, or flip side, that is also problematic. Fidaism accepts the claim that faith and reason are in opposition. But instead of siding with reason, it sid with faith. The roots of this position can be traced back quite deeply into the protestant reformation.
