Intracellular pH Sensing

There are some pH sensitive proteins. We don't know what they are at the end of this section. I was kind of waiting for the one pH sensor in the kidney is X as I was looking for literature here. And there isn't one. There's like five or six different ones. That was helpful to imagine how all those different inputs might change the process. So it's not just that there's like an optimal pH for every protein to work at. It's that there's a pH at which these proteins work.
