The Australian Health Insurance System Is Just Too Complicated for the Average Aussie

The Australian government said well this is all just too complicated for the average Aussie and to be honest as a doctor I struggled when I tried to switch health insurance so even for me it was just so confusing. They just basically said let's just dumb it down to about four separate policies which avoids the Medicare levy surcharge. The bronze cover covers about 21 clinical categories but avoids joint replacements back neck spine services and there's silver cover which covers 29 clinical areas.
