Technology is like an apocalyptic lubricant or something. It's not solving the what we are hoping that it would solve. When things get out of balance enough, depopulation is going to happen. There's no way around it. And right now it seems like the idea, the compassionate idea, is like, let the earth decide who to kill via complete ecological collapse.
