Flight 299 was a passenger flight going from Detroit to Memphis on December 3rd, 1990. The crew listened to the automatic terminal information service, ATIS, which noted that visibility was 3.25 mile. Flight pushed back to taxi at about 131 PM. It was initially cleared by the West Ground Controller to runway 3 center by turning right out of the gate and holding short of Oscar 7.
