How to Structure a Real Estate Private Equity Deal
In general, we use a very plain vanilla structure, real estate private equity structure. We owe the investors a set preferred return on that money every year. So like 6% or 7% were the number is. And before we participate in any of the cash flow from the building or profits from the sale of the building, we first need to give the investors back all of the preferred return that we owed them.
