The Next Apocalypse - The Confusion Between Fantasy and Reality
The term collapse is often used colloquially, but we also use it as archaeologists sometimes. It implies this sort of totality of change in a way that everything has fallen apart. In what we see, archeologically, historically, and even in contemporary times, that's not the way things fall together. The collapse could represent a really profound change for certain people and certain places based on their position in society.
