This is a really difficult time for businesses and GP practices are not excluded from that. Some of the things you can do should be done in the good times as well. Cost generally are kept under control quite well by GP practices. The risk though when things get tough is let's start slashing costs. But don't forget about those ancillary benefits that exist with being the NHS. Despite all changes, it may not be as good as it was 10 years ago, but still very good.
