Steven Spielberg's Life Is a Tree

Alice Nguyen's debut novel is about two young men who fall in love during World War One. The book had a very interesting origin where Steven Spielberg had this idea for a climate change film, basically from the perspective of nature. And he enlisted Brian Selznick to write the screenplay like during COVID, the film got scrapped. But then asked Steven Spielberg if he could move forward with the idea as a book and Steven agreed. It really has this sort of cinematic feel to it,. And it feels like a Pixar movie, if I'm being honest. So yeah, that it has really, it has stuck with me and it's really special.
