The Advantages of a Subclavian Procedure

I like subclavians because you can do them quickly and safely without ultrasound. I think technically it is more complicated to do an ultrasound guide at subclavian, and so, you know, I think it's definitely a safer way to do the procedure. But for me, it defeats some of the advantages of the procedure. It's much better to make a 21 gauge hole in a vessel than an 18 gauge hole ina vessel.
