The Dark Level

Zach had his first daily run in over a year. He says he was thrown by the dark level of spelunky. Don't play outside on the Vita in the Sun it was so hard, turns up the brightness lately on these in the control fan I tried well and made it to the city of gold which for me being very out of practice especially on the daily I was pretty thrilled with. Do you guys have any general dark level tips keep the torch especially if you have specs it's not as important if you have spectacles it illuminates the level as much as I do.
