Introduction

Charles Beaumont was second only to Rod Sailing in his contributions to the Twilight Zone. The episode that we'll be discussing tonight is the first one to be written by someone other than Rod Sailing. Charles Beaumont adapted his own short story per chance to dream into the episode of the same name. One of these scripts might very well be my favourite Twilight Zone episode of all time but we'll come to that someday and see whether that's true.
