The Limits of Law

The limits of law law is a feature of capitalism and so in her it inevitably reproduces and legitimizes its basic structure but the contradictions inherent in that system actually make it potentially emancipatory. By relying on labor law to eliminate or prevent exploitation we actually risk discouraging more far-reaching forms of political action, he says. "No labor law helps obscure sort of super added exploitation while reinforcing legitimizing the exploitation inherent in the system" He concludes by saying there are reasons to be cautiously optimistic about what can be achieved with current laws.
