I'm writing because there are times when I struggle a bit with how little it's acceptable for him to do versus what I do for our kids. He won't engage in any emotional or decision-making discussions about the children at all. When our younger child was struggling to settle into school, he wouldn't discuss having a joint approach to things like screen time and routines. Please tell me what you think and whether I need to just let go and get over it or if I have a point. You're both right. He's doing the bare minimum and you have a right to be angry.
