Distributed Leadership

Do you have formal positions to which people can be assigned? Does that emerge socially and organically, or do you have formal structures. Do you differentiate the kind of distributed leadership from the typical corporate flattening the hierarchy strategies? Are they generically the same thing, or are they different? I think it's all about authenticity. And anybody who has a personally experienced something like he just said, like a corporation trying to be more flat or team building, you can feel whether it's authentic or not. If it's e totaly can feel it. If it is authentic, am then it has a chance.
