As a child, the child doesn't care. Even if I am diabetes, it doesn't matter. If I like the Hungarian chocolate cake, I'm going to eat. That voice is in me on my life because it's called temptation. And God gave us temptation so I can practice the freedom of choice as an adult. But it's up to me whether I act upon it or not. So freedom comes with responsibility. Freedom without responsibility is energy. Don't spoil your children because they were the first one to die.
Dr. Edith Eger is a Holocaust survivor who went on to graduate with a PhD from the University of Texas. She is a prolific author and maintains a busy clinical psychology practice.
