It was this basically a regime that did reasonably well from kind of midway through the Cold War until 2014 or so, but is no longer a realistic goal of international diplomacy? I think we have, I think this is one of those cases where technological progress is working against us. Anybody who's seen the movie Oppenheimer knows that to get that first bomb, it took some of the greatest scientists in the whole world.
