The Future of Social Networks Are Niche Markets

I believe that the future of social networks are niche markets, not massive, all purpose platforms. Every particular space has its own set of unique functions or actions that it needs to perform. I don't really see a something like facebook or twitter being able to survive the the size that they're currently at. The pace book will inevitably become something like my space.
