The Vampiric Vampire
The vampire of the title, the vampier marguerite chopin. I do find the character genuinely frightening. She does have this aura of frailty which is very compelling. It's possibly the closest i've seen any film to something that really captures that fundamental nightmare essence. And in this entirely or almost entirely topsy turvy film, we finally see things as they really are.
