There's plenty of evidence in the Bible that because of their prior commitment to no musical instruments they just have to come up with very strange ways to get around. It's the kind of reasoning process that if you did it in ordinary life you'd get locked up for. We are told that New Testament church is a temple. We are a temple of the Holy Spirit. And so we need to bear that in mind as we read the book of 1 Corinthians. Any questions over anything so far? Points of confusion first of all.
