My mom promised me that we would get all new stuff, including people who would become our family. And one of those people was my mom's roommate, Uncle Bubba. He had red hair, a red beard, red chest hair that kind of peaked out over his fancy dress shirts and I fell in love with him immediately. One day they took me to Zilker Park for the first time; there was an ice cream stand and a big kitty train that went around the park. So Uncle Bubba got us two cones and tickets for the train.
