It's Not for Us to Speak for God

Rooney says he's not claiming that he knows if any will finally be in hell. He thinks it's very important to keep open the real possibility of an eternal hell, even though we may not know the reason for it. Rooney is saying basically the whole spectacle of Revelation may be nothing more than a sort of shadow play. When we pull back the veil, it may turn out that God is entirely different from it.
