GitHub Co-Pilot: Is Open Source Software a Copyright Threat?
There is a class action lawsuit being filed against GitHub co-pilot, Microsoft and OpenAI. They're claiming that people are pirating open source software and violating the open source licenses. I'm kind of curious to see what happens in court here; there's no clear side one way or the other. It really boils down to factors that are almost a little metaphysical here and are going to be hard to judge.
