Trying to persuade companies to move away from dark patterns will always be difficult. Study shows that in the short term they're effective, you know, and can increase conversions. But long term, it reduces trust in that in that brand. It depends whether they think in long term, and what these dark patterns are sort of saying about them in the shortterm.
