The ideal agglutinating language is you have bunches of derivational morphemes, but it's one meaning per morpheme. One scholar makes a distinction between affixal and compositional poly synthesis. The affixal polysynthetic languages tend to be templatic; they are all expected to land in particular slots. And the other side is compositional: They can have more than one free morpheme per word.
