The essence of stoicism is this idea that things are objective, Epictetus says it's just our opinions about them that are not. In the Hano Hilden prison where Rumjaco spent time, they had a rule: If your cellmate does something that annoys you, it's your fault. To me, that is the ultimate ownership, and it's stoicism very clearly. My thing is I make a positive contribution every day.
