David Seimel: Today, we're discussing intubation. Dr. Michael Detsky is an assistant professor of medicine at the University of Toronto and the Mount Sinai Health System. He says most papers define difficult intubation as being unable to pass the endotracheal tube on a first attempt. The majority used a scoring system called the Cormac Lehain, he says.
