The New York Governor Approves a $7 Billion Redevelopment of the Penn Station
New York governor Kathy Hochall approved a $7 billion redevelopment of the station and its surrounding neighborhood. The old multi-level Penn Station is being replaced with a new, new 23,000 square meter single-level space. Outside that, there's going to be a 2,800 square meter public plaza with widened sidewalks.
