Khalid Sheikh Mohammed: The Mastermind of 9-11
Abu Zubeda identified Khalid Sheikh Mohammed as a mastermind of 9-11. "We did not even know that he was a member of Al Qaeda," says Peter Bergen, the former CIA agent who worked with Osama bin Laden in Afghanistan and Pakistan. He recalls how Abu Zubeda told him about his own idea of kidnapping American soldiers and beheading them on camera to put fear in their hearts.
