The Importance of Raising Awareness

I think it's real important that we prize the generativity of the community above its, like, non-offensiveness or ability to add new people. We have to be able to move things back and forth between these two systems. I do, in fact, think that focused rationality efforts like CFR are helpful. Be really excited when somebody in a conversation somehow gives you a clue as to what it might be that was crap about your efforts all along.
