SB's best estimate for how far you would need to drive before those environmental savings that you're getting using electric rather than petrol add up is a bit over 37,000 miles. We put these results to Vauxhall, and we heard back from their head of PR. He said that the parent company has the figures for the manufacturing carbon footprint of the cars but he hasn't yet shared them with us.
