Lake Ray Plant Earth became the best-selling nonfiction book of the 1970s. It's basically a very simplified end times eschatology of dispensationalism that's tied into current events. Lindsey was not a one-hit wonder, but he had million sellers all through the decade. He basically started a cottage industry of End Times pop publishing.
