Science Isn't the Only Thing That Matters
The key phrase in here is its radical orientation towards certainty of an empirical and naturalistic type. So if you think about it, we're imposing categories, words, phrases on to nature. Nature itself doesn't have it. Science then says, the only thing that matters is scientific and technological knowledge. While scientific knowledge emphasizes the capacity of human reason, awesome, it does not exhaust all the dimensions of reason.
