Grover's algorithm can take any list of n possible solutions to some problem and find a good solution if there is one in only about the square root of n number of steps. For many, many tasks in AI and machine learning, that is still almost 30 years later. If you're trying to factor a 2,000-bit number, as is currently used in for high security applications on the internet, then we don't really know how to do that in any feasible amount of time.
