I've Moved Almost Completely Away From Thinking About Language
In recent years, there have been other fields that have kind of come to the fore, especially metaphysics. That's really become a much more independent and important discipline some ways. And largely that's because people who were studying language then started to realize that language is not something that's entirely in our heads, but involves our engagement with the external world. So once you make that move, then all of a sudden, when you're starting to think about your linguistic content, you're not thinking about language any more. You're thinking About The World.
