Cap Weighted Versus Equal Weight Indexes
If I'm seeing the SPX up performing RSP, I may need to dig a little deeper and see are we just seeing the mega caps and very large cap names holding the market up. So that's another way that I like to use cap weighted versus equal weight indexes. All right, so I do the same thing for the cues, you can see Apple is is Apple Microsoft Amazon Tesla, huge, huge weightings even put in Google in there. That's roughly what 40% or so of the of the NASDAQ are these five holdings, right? Pretty crazy, but that's what it is.
