Traditionalism can be understood in the sense of just someone who has an attachment to traditional rituals or liturgical forms. On the other hand, tradition can be understood to mean someone who has a deep seated antipathy towards the Second Vatican Council and the current magisterium. But if by modernist or progressive, you mean someone who rejects teachings of the church, especially infallible ones, that is most definitely not okay.
