i was living at that time in oxford, which, as many of your listeners know, is a university town. A mobile phone mast was being set up in the middle alongside, actually a school playground. Enormous outcry. Everybody mobilized, down the local church hall. They were all going to stop it. People even going to lay themselves down in front of a buldoses to prevent it.
