My family actually has 84 years of service. My father was the first marine in our family served as infantry infantrymen in Vietnam. And then and then myself and both my sons and Marines. So part of joining the military was kind of weirdness paradox of wanting to follow my dad's footsteps, but also wanting to use that as a way to escape from the childhood that I lived in.
