Willie Mae Brown's new book is called My Selma, True Stories of a Southern Childhood at the height of the Civil Rights Movement. She was 12 when Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. first came to her church in Selma Alabama and she recalls how children looked for guidance on brand new TV sets or worried faces of their parents. Robin Young: What was it like to be a child in that time? Willie Mae Brown: It was full of horrors but also filled with triumphs.
