Keeping the Dhamma Beautiful - The Third Precept

Right livelihood is central to our path because it's central to our lives. We refrain from sexual misconduct because we are responsible for the well-being of so many people. If you don't practice this precept, you may become irresponsible and create trouble in the community at large. So these are the aspects of right action, not killing, not stealing, refraining from sexual misconduct. It just follows as the next step on the path.
