Jeff Yang: I'd never had Thai food growing up. This could be my similar situation with the waxworms. Like all they had was wax, you know, you're a waxworm. You just have wax. And then one day somebody's like, Hey, have you tried Thai food? Did you know that noodles could have flavor? He says he likes to think maybe these bugs like oil too. Maybe we're opening a whole new world up to them.
